Highly recommend this B&B! Cozy, comfortable and relaxing with super hosts! They were very accommodating and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and they even made sure it met everyone’s dietary needs! The hot tub was great too – very relaxing at night and a nice touch with the candles! Thanks again for having us!
Travellers to Travellers
Donna Lee and Matt are fantastic hosts- friendly, interesting, interested, well travelled, helpful…. and the breakfasts are excellent!!
Butler Creek House is great B&B. The location is close enough to the old town to be walking distance and is near to a couple wineries to boot. The B&B itself is well-kept, cozy, and clean. Both the hosts are wonderful and accommodating, they’ll go out of their way to ensure you have a smooth and enjoyable stay.
If you’re looking for a B&B, stop looking and book here. Matt and Donna are amazing hosts. The property is beautiful, rooms are immaculate and breakfast is delicious (make sure not to fill up on the freshly baked banana bread – it will be hard though). Looking forward to coming back again very soon!
What a treasure Butler Creek house is. Donna Lee and Matt were so welcoming and friendly. Thanks to Donna Lee for telling us about the local food truck evening – food and entertainment great! The Georgian Suite was beautiful, lovely furnishings and comfortable beds and the personal touches made it so welcoming. Breakfasts were incredible – especially the care taken with mine as I am a coeliac. Loved having the use of the hot tub. This is the best b&b we have ever stayed in. Such a relaxed atmosphere it felt like being in your own home. Donna Lee and Matt went out of their way to take care of my wife who arrived feeling unwell.
More than happy with the experience we had at this B&B. It is unique, Matt and Donna are not just ‘the owners’, they are the best hosts we have ever met. If you are considering going to this place, don’t hesitate, make your reservation and enjoy this beautiful second home.
Relaxing, Comfortable and Friendly
Butler Creek House can be described as cozy, friendly and welcoming. It is located in a residential, quieter part of town but within walking distance of the great restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious on both of the days we stayed. The hosts Donna Lee and Matt clearly enjoy running their business as evidenced by the extra care they show to make sure their guests have every comfort. They are themselves well traveled. We found this to be an added bonus because they have interesting stories and decorative features that they found during their trips. I would recommend this B & B to anyone who is looking for a friendly relaxing place to stay,
Great Weekend in Wine Country!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Butler creek house for the night on Valentine’s Day. The owners were amazing, super welcoming and made you feel right at home. And the House was absolutely beautiful, very cute and cozy. We will definitely come back again! Would absolutely recommend to all.
Wonder FRESH fruit Bowl
Donna Lee and Matt are wonderful hostess and host. The setting is a quiet street and the space is more like an apartment. A large bedroom with fireplace, a sitting room with two sofas, and a very large bath with huge tub and separate shower. While the room was very nice, breakfast was wonderful. A large bowl of just prepared fruit, just baked croissants, farm fresh eggs, and bacon (Canadian style). The bonus for a B&B is the personality of the hostess and host. Enjoyable chats that are engaging and have you thinking about a return trip.
Lovely New Years Eve spent at the Butler Creek House
We stayed 1 night at the Butler creek House. The room was a suite with Large bedroom , separate sitting room and enormous bathroom with a whirlpool tub and separate shower. the rooms were bright and airy, white bathrobes and slippers were supplied. The room had lots of amenities: fridge, glasses, wine opener, coffee and tea and hot chocolate with real mugs, chocolates, 2 t.v.s., books and of course wifi. Breakfast was delicious with several choices available. We had French toast and pancakes as well as yogurt and fruit, freshly made carrot muffins and juice. Another delightful addition was the bottled water and cookies presented to us as we were leaving. We hope to return in the spring to be able to use the nearby walking trails and see the renovations that are in the works. Situated within walking distance to downtown Niagara on the Lake at the end of a quiet street
